M.V. Blues is a buddy comedy that's one part Seinfeld and one part Gilligan's Island.  Shot on location in the exclusive resort community of Martha's Vineyard, it follows the exploits of three middle aged men trying to escape the drudgery of their successful but otherwise mundane professional lives by writing the next big Hollywood movie. When a chance encounter with a big shot producer promises them the lucky break they've long been hoping for, the guys begin seeing stars, but in truly Shakespearean fashion they soon discover that blind ambition leads to its own brand of mid-life crisis. M.V. Blues is about dreams denied but not forgotten, the search for meaning in everyday life, and the value of true friendship.
